In order to obtain DIAKITE edible cocoa butter, we press it from beans of a cacao tree found in Africa. 100% natural first cold-pressed cocoa butter preserves its rich aroma and pleasant flavour, is light yellow or cream in color and has a hard brittle crystalline texture at up to 33-35 °C. The cocoa butter is used to make chocolate, candies, glazes, fillings, desserts in confectionery and chocolate factories and in craft workshops. In cosmetology and pharmaceuticals, it is valued for the stability and melting point close to the temperature of the human body.

Natural cocoa butter is a mixture of glycerides which are physiological indifferent and compatible with most medicinal substances. This makes it one of the most widely used ointment and suppository bases in pharmaceutical practice. Being composed of such ingredients as fatty acids, vitamins A, E, B2, PP, magnesium, iron, copper, caffeine, and tannins, the cocoa butter is ideal for use in beauty products for dry, dull and inelastic skin, in nutritious, anti-aging, and anti-cellulite cosmetics.
